Lil’ Drug Store Products’ Michelle Ridder and Casey Blackburn honored as 2020 Top Women in Convenience Retailing
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA – Lil’ Drug Store Products (LDSP) is proud to announce that Michelle Ridder and Casey Blackburn have been recognized by Convenience Store News as two of their 2020 Top Women in Convenience. Michelle Ridder was selected as a top Senior-Level Leader, and Casey Blackburn was named a Rising Star.
Now in its seventh year, the 2020 Top Women in Convenience recognizes the important role women play in convenience retailing as managers and leaders. TWIC is the first and only convenience store industry awards program that recognizes women making outstanding contributions to their companies and the industry.
Michelle Ridder joined the Lil’ Drug Category Management team as an Assistant Category Manager in 2013 and she now leads the team as the Director of Category Management. She oversees the team’s category influence nationwide and has contributed to the continued growth and expansion in the HBC category in key national accounts. Michelle is also very active in the community with volunteering for Junior Achievement for the last 12 years as well as being the 2014 and 2016 Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Eastern Iowa Woman of the Year.
Casey Blackburn, who recently joined the Lil’ Drug team, brings a vast amount of industry knowledge with her from her time as a broker at Advantage Solutions and a Sales Manager at BIC. In these roles, she excelled at deepening relationships between her clients and customers and executed on sales goals. In 2017, she was awarded the BIC Sales Manager of the Year and has also received numerous Sales Achievement awards. Casey is passionate about wellness and is a co-owner of a wellness business that provides her community with opportunities to feel their best.
