Lil' Drug Store Products' annual support of Theatre Cedar Rapids makes it possible for us to bring live theatre to Cedar Rapids each year. TCR produces theatre that is created by and for our community, and we have been doing so for nearly 100 years. A cornerstone of Eastern Iowa arts and culture, TCR is proud to be a beacon of downtown vitality, and a leader in the arts. We work to invigorate community growth as we welcome tens of thousands of individuals through our doors each year, ensuring that any investment in TCR is a point of pride. We are grateful that Lil' Drug Store Products counts us among its community priorities.
TCR is one of the largest professionally run, community based theatres in the country. While our performers and crews volunteer their time, there is nothing amateur about TCR’s productions. Our annual budgets near $2.5 million, making us one of the largest producing arts organizations in the state.
As a non-profit, Lil’ Drug Store Products’ support is essential to carrying forward our mission. Lil’ Drug Store Products has joined TCR as a Title Sponsor for our musicals since 2012, a tremendous display of confidence in our work. This sponsorship support is deeply important as our musical production investments are significant, ranging from $150K - $200K per production.
